Join an ARCH delve into the past pre-excavation class at Alness Heritage Centre.

Join an Archaeology for Communities in the Highlands pre-excavation class at the Alness Heritage Centre on 5 and 12 July 2012, 3.30-9pm. There will also be a site visit on 8 July, 1pm to 4pm. Archaeologists Lynne and Lachlan McKeggie will lead the classes centring around the Foulis mound at Evanton, which will begin its second session of digging this summer. Last year's dig revealed lots of finds, including musket balls and an 18th century shoe buckle.
